Yom HaShoah
Day of Remembrance
My name is Narrin Schwartz of The Twenty Fifth Hour At Your Service, LLC,
I would like to take a moment this week and acknowledge Holocaust Remembrance Day, “Yom HaShoah” A day of commemoration honoring the memory of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and many other victims of race, religion, creed, color, sexual orientation, disability and ethnicity who perished in the holocaust as of a result of the actions carried out by Nazi Germany and their collaborators.
Yom HaShoah begins at Sundown 4/11/18 to sundown 4/12/18. In Israel, it is a national Memorial Day. This commemoration day is always held on the 27th of the Hebrew month of Nisan, Nisan just so happens to be my Hebrew Name.
On March 16, 2018, I had the privilege and honor to bring my clients Joseph and Magda Ungerleider Of Rockaway to present their Holocaust Survival story to the Eisenhower Middle School students in Roxbury Township, NJ. Joseph and Magda are “aging in place” in an independent 55 plus Senior community.
This event was spearheaded by my dear friend Geraldine Dasappan who is a Co-PTO president at Eisenhower Middle School and owner of Amada Senior Care Service of Morristown and Dover, NJ.
I also would like to acknowledge Ann Rhodes the community relations coordinator in writing such a wonderful news release article that is attached below. It is about the event on 3/16/18 at the Eisenhower Middle School.
